GNB Corporation and VRC Technologies, Inc. have entered into a new strategic manufacturing agreement allowing GNB to produce and commercialize VRC’s proprietary aluminum vacuum valve designs across all markets.
The agreement brings together GNB’s large-scale manufacturing capabilities with VRC’s engineering-driven valve designs to meet increasing demand for high-quality vacuum components across semiconductor, industrial, and research applications.
“This partnership enhances GNB’s ability to support customers across industries with precision-built vacuum solutions,” said Thomas Dobler, CEO of GNB Corporation. “VRC’s valve technology is a natural fit with our existing product lines and engineering culture.”
“We are pleased to collaborate with GNB to bring our designs to a broader market,” said John Harnett, President of VRC Technologies. “Importantly, VRC will continue to manufacture valves at our Pittsburgh facility, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness for our customers.”
Under the terms of the agreement:
- GNB is authorized to manufacture and supply aluminum vacuum valves based on VRC’s designs.
- VRC retains the ability to continue production and supply of its own valve designs independently.
This partnership reinforces the value of collaboration between engineering innovators and established manufacturers in strengthening U.S.-based production of advanced vacuum technologies.
